Role & responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Design and develop data models in Power BI to support reporting needs.
• Perform data cleansing and transformation using Power Query and DAX.
• Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Implement best practices in visualization design to enhance user experience.
• Develop custom visuals as necessary to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and reporting requirements.
• Monitor and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data visualization and reporting.
• Maintain documentation for developed reports and dashboards, including data sources and methodologies.
• Advocate for best practices in data visualization and reporting across the organization.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of other BI tools and data visualization best practices is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
